Short story collections are always being produced. The Promise is a set of short stories based on the novel Thief's Heartache. With ten new short stories, this collection will enhance the world of Marella and William as it fills in some of the gaps, gaps which were mostly left by the editor deleting unnecessary backstory. LA Quill has a new series in the works. Titled "Crystal's Chronicles" by the publisher, this series delves further into characters only briefly mentioned and barely seen in "The Imperial Series". It explores Crystal, her brother Darcet, and their lieutenants. Crystal and Darcet were first mentioned in Dragon's Tempest and are about to make their presence known with a bang. Look for the first book in this series to appear no earlier than 2020.
